Vacuum Insulated Valves and Cryogenic Non-Insulated Valves
VIP Valves are recommended when the elimination of frost, ice, and moisture, as well as maximum system efficiency, is essential. Also, if your process is sensitive to shutdown, they add control of system upgrades and alterations.
Cryogenic Valves are used to allow function and safety when cryogenic liquids are in use. They are constructed of either Stainless Steel or Brass and Bronze, the materials capable of functioning safely at the temperatures encountered.
Cryovents and Keepcolds
CryoVents can remove the vaporized gas that rises to the top of your system. The built-up gas may cause sluggish flow and flow spurts. Cryovents are an effective way to maintain liquid on demand in VIP systems. Requires no electricity.
Keepcolds are electronic controls that can be used to vent excess system gas and reduce the time gap in product flow. Any cryogenic system will vaporize gas over time due to the approximately 400-degree temperature difference from the ambient air. A Keepcold will vent gas to allow the system to stay cold enough to provide the quick response needed on some systems.
